MSF Training of Trainers

Who & Why

MSF professionals work in different areas of the organisation from specialist doctors; nurses, midwifes, logisticians and sanitation experts located in a wide area of Africa and Asia. Many are keen to improve their effectiveness in training and facilitation. Typically, MSF participants would apply TOT to their work in in the field, passing on their specialist knowledge and training in areas for improvement or development.

Outcomes

Participants developed, delivered and evaluated a training programme applicable to their own area of work with an understanding of learning theory and engagement. They had hands on practise and acquired many tools for training other colleagues in a way which lent itself to be engaging and motivating.

Mikala’s delivery of TOT was brilliant. A good mix of interaction, theory and group work made it interesting. I took away so much that I can use in my practise and cultural context.
