Facilitation
Connection is the cornerstone of my work as a facilitator and artist.
International multi-disciplinary facilitation
My work as an International IAF CertifiedTM Professional Facilitator (CPF) connects me to people and organisations far and wide.
My workshops are interactive, participatory, engaging and, above all, enjoyable. I deliver face-to-face, as well as immersive online workshops with hybrid possibilities.
I have worked extensively with clients from a wide range of sectors including healthcare, government, NGO’S, not for profit, government, and the private sector.
Projects
I deliver immersive online Liberating Structures workshops with ‘Happy’ (training and learning company), co-facilitating with senior facilitators. These workshops reach a wide audience ranging from government and not-for-profits to the private sector and healthcare. More about Liberating Structures ↓
I have worked for several years with Medecins Sans Frontieres / Doctors Without Borders, delivering a wide range of training and facilitated events abroad including Leadership training and Train-the-Trainer and more recently, the ‘Speak Up, Speak Out’ program, delivered throughout the MSF London office.
I co-created the successful ‘Having a Say in the NHS’ program in the UK to promote service user involvement and to train trainers
In Denmark I worked with the Copenhagen Centre for Innovation and several Danish Hospital Trust directors spearheading programmes to involve service users in the Trusts’ departments
As a Senior Practitioner with the National Childbirth Trust (NCT), I have fulfilled a lifelong passion in supporting women’s choice in maternity care, along with supporting couples transition to parenthood. I am also a trained NCT Mentor delivering one-to-one and group sessions.
More about Liberating Structures (LS)
How do we best include and engage everyone in a group without falling back into the same old patterns and results?
Do we end up with the same unproductive and boring meetings?
How can we encourage the excitement of unexpected ideas emerging from individuals or a group?
Liberating Structures are a collection of interactive and complementary methods that deepen involvement and spark a group’s creative intelligence.
As we navigate complex environments and address chronic challenges faced by groups, the purpose of LS is to involve and unleash everyone’s ideas, thus changing the way people work together.
Embodiment and facilitation
As a facilitator, my passion is to move participants, literally and figuratively - to involve and encourage them to their intended outcomes.
Movement helps participants see things afresh or come to a new place of understanding or learning. In Zoom workshops or meetings this might take the form of encouraging participants to step away from the screen and move simply or I might invite participants to embody the themes we’re working with.
