My background

I live in the South West of the UK where I’m lucky enough to find places where I can wild swim and ramble.

I come from a multicultural European background, where the arts were always at the forefront and, as the daughter of a film maker, I have been very much influenced by the visual arts. Yet, my main passion from an early age was dance and theatre.

I gather family and friends around me whenever possible and love nothing more than making food to enjoy, whilst having good conversations and plenty of laughter. I have two lovely daughters who I’m immensely proud of and a wonderful partner, a talented glass artist.

Academic background

I have an MSc in Health and Social Care and I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).  This gives me an understanding of the theory and knowledge of the learning process and an appreciation of what might work best with different client groups.

Additionally, as a Certified Professional Facilitator (IAF), I am in a good position to understand the different dynamics of a group and how best to move to intended outcomes in ways which are engaging and participatory.
